Silk Batik
These workshops are fascinating because of the vibrant colours that are used and people find silk batik theraputic because of this.
To date Helen has worked on some large scale projects with silk batik :
The Olympic Torch Releay Design Team for 2004 in London for Kinetika Arts International in production of a 100 Silk batik banners with the Greater London schools. A final showcase large banner lined The Mall at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Olympic Torche’s journey to Athens for the 2004 Olympics.
The silk batiked and printed flags at the IOW Festival 2006/7.
Workshops at the Quay Arts Newport IOW.
